Its funny how the simplest things can bring about such a fun hobby.
That’s my story. 2003, while bored out of my mind, I started bending a single black pipecleaner into a figure and placed it on top of a Lego Polar Bear. From there, the creative floodgates broke open, and the rest is history.
In 2006, I moved toward the first step in becoming an artist: I perfected my craft. Making the figure 2 times bigger than before, the detail added suddenly made my figure much more than a hobby… it became something that defined me.
The years came and went. A few hundred figures later, I have reached a point where I’m sharing my creations with the world. My figures have gone all over the United States and even one going to Vancouver. But this is just the beginning; a meager start to something that I know can become massive.
My crafting abilities have taken me to new mediums I never thought I could pull off. This website is a huge stepping stone in the process, showcasing all of my works in one convenient place. For me, art is a way to unwind, to detox from the normal world around me, and a way to tether my imagination to the actual world. Because that’s what this is all about, right? Stick around for a while…
… an overactive Imagination is contagious.
