With Original Characters, its hard to really show what they are suppose to look like from these figures. While I have some skills in sketching, nothing really can say “Here. this is what this character looks like” like a figurine. Something tactile, something that can be held and seen.
That is a lot of the struggle I had with Typherion. The main Antagonist from my series of creations, I wanted to give him an almost “Infected” look. Stemming from the Nurgle vibe from W40k. Even in his name where I based him off of one of my favorite character designs, Typhus, Herald of Nurgle. His overall design stems from the “Broken down and rotted machine” aesthetic. While this is the 3rd redesign, I wanted to add more to the look, so I gave him some dangling tubes and cables from his back section.
Overall, he’s a great figure. I really enjoyed making him and I plan on making him a base soon. (Though, he’s able to stand on his own.)
